School closure Tuesday 12 November 2019

Bellingen High School, and all other schools west of the pacific Highway in the greater Coffs Harbour area, will be closed for operation tomorrow, Tuesday November 12, 2019.

Re-opening on Wednesday is dependant on fire conditions and a survey by Assets Management on site as to the safety of re-opening for students and staff.

We apologise for any inconvenience but believe this is in the best interests and safety of our students and their families, given current forecasts.​

There is a public, community meeting near council chambers / information centre (organised by Bellingen Shire Council)  from 4-6 pm this afternoon for residents to inform and answer any questions.

The safety of our students is paramount.

We ask that you look after yourselves and each other in the days to come.
